The world market DUNIA opened their welcoming gate on Saturday July 31st from 11h00 till 18h30 at the beach in Oostduinkerke for the 13th time! DUNIA stands for a piece of a free world trip, conviviality and fun, tasting, browsing and discovering. Centrally in the world feast was again the famous world market.
Numerous vzw’s and ngo’s gave clear information about their project and opened for the visitors a world of tasty kitchen, great gadgets and colourful stands with treats and trinkets.

DUNIA also means Fair Trade local products, fair trading and bio topped with a portion of world music with as outlier: the song of, by and for Koksijde!

Several days Jean Bosco Safari brainstormed with numerous volunteers. First getting the text on paper and then composing the music along asks clear professional guidance. For this Jean Bosco Safari was the perfect man: singer songwriter with years of experience and scene performance to take along a group of people for THE Koksijde-song. The yearly world market DUNIA on the beach of Oostduinkerke was the perfect setting and occasion to present the song to the public.
