Description of the project:

September 28th heavy rainfalls destroyed the CRVO home as stones, mud, a parked car,… came down from the hill and hit the house, washed away all the things in the house and destroyed the agricultural area behind the house. The renovation and replacing the basic essentials that children have been using at home will restore their hope. This project will be an answer and will enable CRVO to continue with its daily activities in line with its objectives.

Objectives:

The children will get basic needs like clothes and a uniform which allow them go back to school. They will sleep in a warm environment especially these days when the place is too cold due to heavy rains and it will reduce on the risks of getting diseases amongst many other challenges.

Beneficiaries:

The main beneficiaries are the children living in the CRVO house.

Name project: Project 59: Kabale – Emergency help CRVO

General status:

On December 9th the board of Vleugels van Hoop vzw visited the children and the home of CRVO in Kabala, Oeganda.

Progress since last status report:

All repairs to the house have been finalized, the bed rooms are back in use and the plot around the house has been reinforced and hardened.

Financial status:

As reported earlier all provided funds are fully consumed as planned.
