Collecting money for the good cause! Nice! But how does one start? After a lot of ideas, varying from a feast to a sale of candies we came to the idea to bake heart-shaped waffles ourselves. So we started on Friday, after our 3-days trip, with the first baking of 400 small waffles.

After many sighs, nervous breakdowns and lots of laughter we were proud on the result. After the first successful sale via Facebook we started with good spirit to bake additional 600 small waffles to sell at school and at the Christmas market in Lokeren. We left to school with lots of doubts about not selling really much…but after lots of yelling and convincing the sale went smooth. Also on the Christmas market the sale started slowly till we decided to approach our customers instead of expecting them to come to us.

Some hours later everybody in Lokeren knew Vleugels van Hoop and all waffles were sold out.We were motivated to collect the money for Vleugels van Hoop and had a lot of fun around. It was a nice experience to do something fun for the good cause!
