CAPTURING AND EVACUATION OF RAIN WATER TO 2 10.000 LITER TANKS

I. Introduction

The huge amount of rain water, coming from the roofs of our buildings (surface 500m2) is causing big problems!
At one side, this water is damaging our buildings, and at the other side it would e very beneficial
to use it for our projects (vegetable garden, project ‘colouring of tissues’, the garden).
Therefore we request help to be able to capture the rain water in 2 tanks (10.000 liter per tank).

3.  THANKS DECLARATION

The centre thanks the association "Vleugels van Hoop" for always offering a listening ear.. The project "recuperation of rain water" comes on top of the primary set objective of protecting the buildings. On top our current water costs are negligible!! (1.200 RwFr instead of 8.000).
An extra benefit on top of the already realized canalisation project in the centre.

Again a big THANK YOU to VLEUGELS VAN HOOP

Visit on january 19 - 2012

On Thursday, 19.01.2012. Bernadette, the responsible of ‘Twese Hamwe’ receives us for a visit at the centre. This cultural centre is doing extremely well.

They started with a training:

The implementation of the project 'rainwater' is 100% completed and very useful.
The water bill decreased by ¾ of the costs. Bernadette presents us the Madam, who will succeed her. To our great surprise Bernadette is already 69 years old. It is not to be seen. Lunch is served by the first year students, let’s say students of the first days - the school begins here early January! Gifts are exchanged and we give the students an applause for the tasty meal and the excellent service!!
